3. Advertising
ReminderAlarm uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process certain information required for advertising, analytics related to advertising, and fraud prevention.
Depending on the configuration and user's device/privacy settings, this may include:
- IP address
- Advertising ID
- App/device identifiers
- Device information
- App interactions
- Ad impressions
- Ad clicks
- Diagnostic information
- General location information inferred from IP address
Google states that the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares certain information including IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device/account identifiers.
This information is processed by Google according to Google's applicable privacy policies and advertising policies.
ReminderAlarm does not sell users' personal information.
4. How Advertising Data Is Used
Information processed by Google AdMob may be used for purposes including:
- Displaying advertisements
- Measuring advertising performance
- Preventing fraud and abuse
- Maintaining advertising services
- Improving advertising delivery
- Providing personalized or non-personalized advertisements depending on applicable settings, consent, and user/device controls
Google's advertising policies require publishers to clearly disclose data collection, sharing and usage resulting from Google products and services.
Users can manage advertising/privacy controls through their Android device and applicable Google privacy settings.
5. Reminder and Alarm Data
ReminderAlarm is designed to store reminder information locally on your device for the purpose of providing reminder and alarm functionality.
ReminderAlarm does not require an online account to create reminders.
Your reminder information may include information that you choose to enter into the application.
Please do not enter highly sensitive medical, financial, password, or other confidential information into reminder notes.
6. Data Retention
ReminderAlarm local data
Reminder and alarm information stored locally by ReminderAlarm remains on your device until:
- You delete the reminder or alarm;
- You use an available delete/clear-data option in the app;
- You clear the application's data through Android Settings; or
- You uninstall ReminderAlarm.
ReminderAlarm does not maintain a separate server-side database of your reminders when the app is operating without an account/server-storage feature.
Advertising data
Data processed by Google AdMob is handled according to Google's applicable data retention practices and policies. ReminderAlarm does not control Google's independent retention periods.
For example, Google publishes specific retention periods for different AdMob reporting data types.
7. Data Deletion
ReminderAlarm does not provide user account creation or login, so there is no ReminderAlarm user account to delete.
Users can delete their locally stored ReminderAlarm data by:
Option 1 — Delete individual reminders
Open ReminderAlarm → select the reminder/alarm → delete it.
Option 2 — Clear all application data
On Android:
Settings → Apps → ReminderAlarm → Storage → Clear Storage / Clear Data
The exact wording may vary depending on the Android device manufacturer and Android version.
Option 3 — Uninstall the application
Users can uninstall ReminderAlarm from their Android device. Locally stored application data is removed as part of the normal Android app removal process, subject to Android system behavior and any device backup mechanisms.
Third-party advertising data
Because advertising services are provided by Google AdMob, ReminderAlarm cannot directly delete data independently maintained by Google.
Users may manage applicable advertising identifiers and advertising privacy controls through their Android/Google settings.
Google provides controls for resetting or deleting advertising identifiers and managing personalized advertising.
8. No User Account
ReminderAlarm currently does not provide:
